Hello CLC Families,

We are happy to inform you that our facility will reopen on Monday, May 4th.  Since Oxford has lifted some of the restrictions for businesses in our city and several other child care centers are reopening, the committee and church staff feel the need to open as well to serve our families.

There will be some provisions that need to take place in order to maintain the safety of everyone.  We will continue to implement all previous social distancing measures and wellness monitoring according to the CDC guidelines.  Upon arrival, both parents and staff will be required to wear protective masks for drop-off and pick-up which will continue in the Welcome Center for downstairs and the hallway upstairs for 4 year olds and afterschool. We will allow Infant/Creeper parents to drop off in the classrooms with protection.  Drop-off and pick-up will be between 7-8:30 AM and 4-5:30 PM to ensure no transmission of possible germs. If you need to pick-up your child between these times, please call ahead so that a teacher can meet you in the Welcome Center.  You will fill out the Wellness Monitoring form at drop off.  Nap mats along with all blankets or “loveys” will be taken home daily to launder.  No backpacks or outside toys can be brought into the facility at this time or until further notice.  If your child is sick, please keep them home until they are fever free for 24 hours without medication to ensure all safety.

We are happy to announce our committee and church personnel agreed to allow for the previously agreed upon tuition discount offered to you in April regarding tuition loss in March.  Therefore, all tuition will be discounted $250 per tuition rate on May’s tuition and the sibling discount will be $15 per child.  We are assessing the need for full day afterschool care from families.  If full day afterschool is offered, regular summer care tuition would be expected. However, it will be discounted as stated above.  May’s tuition will be due on May 11th regardless of your child’s attendance in order to retain his/her spot.   In light of this crisis, if there are any hardships that your family is facing, please call and we can formulate a resolution together.

CLC would like to thank you for your patience during this time of crisis.  Oxford and Lafayette County along with you have worked hard to flatten the curve to make our community safe during this season of Covid-19.  We are excited to have our children back in our classrooms to brighten our lives.  We will see you Monday!

Thank you for all your cooperation.
